IT Project & Adoption Manager

Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid)

 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT and business technology projects, including ERP implementations/upgrades and digital modernisation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for a diverse portfolio of projects.
  • Establish and maintain an IT project portfolio aligned with the Group’s Digital Roadmap and strategic priorities.
  • Design, implement, and improve project management processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive adoption plans for all new systems and business technology projects.
  • Champion user adoption by designing and implementing change management strategies.
  • Facilitate training, support, and communications to ensure smooth transition and sustained engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise project delivery and adoption processes by gathering feedback, measuring outcomes, and implementing improvements to maximise business value.
  • Facilitate cross functional collaboration, ensuring clear communication between IT, business units, compliance, and external partners.

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or Project Management (essential).
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience in IT Project Management or Business Technology delivery roles, including managing IT and business technology projects such as ERP implementations or upgrades (knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is advantageous).
  • Previous experience with enterprise system implementation or upgrade projects and digital modernisation initiatives, with proven expertise in change management and user adoption (essential).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and change management best practices.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including familiarity with compliance requirements and regulations, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively and influence at all levels.
