Apprentice Engineer

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out equipment Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) under supervision.

• Equipment breakdown support and minimising downtime activities, under supervision.

• Implement Corrective And Preventative Actions (CAPA).

• Provide support for general site facilities maintenance, under supervision.

• Updating of SOPs and WRKs

• Support small capital expenditure projects.

• Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time to support the department and business activities.

• Ability to use initiative, but with a good understanding of their own limitations

• Ability to work in a thorough and structured manner

• Methodical and logical

• Significant attention to detail

Knowledge and Experience

• Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of MS Office

• Basic numeracy

• Good organisational and planning skills

• Good administrative skills

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Strong technical writing skills

• Strong aptitude for scientific and engineering principals
