Specialty Key Account Manager (KAM) – Spasticity & Neuro Rehabilitation Programs

Location: Remote (territory‑based with frequent travel)

Areas Covered:   Role 1 – NJ, NY, PA,    Role 2 – FL, GA, NC corridor

What you will be doing 

Strategic Account Ownership
  • Manage a portfolio of Tier 1 & Tier 2 spasticity/neuro‑rehabilitation accounts.
  • Build and execute annual and quarterly account plans with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Scale success across health systems following proof‑of‑performance implementations.

 

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build multi‑threaded relationships across:
  • Clinical leads (PM&R, MS/Neurology, stroke/neuro‑rehab)
  • Operational coordinators (spasticity, Botox, pump programs, clinic managers)
  • Access & pharmacy leaders (PA teams, ambulatory pharmacy, specialty pharmacy)

 

Access & Workflow Enablement
  • Deploy account enablement toolkits (PA/ePA templates, documentation guides, appeals language).
  • Improve submission quality, reduce resubmissions, and shorten time‑to‑fill.
  • Lead weekly cadence meetings with key accounts to address blockers and drive performance.

 

Value Communication & Compliance
  • Deliver compliant, tailored operational and clinical value messaging.
  • Partner with Medical, Market Access, Legal, and Patient Services to maintain compliant communications.

 

Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate internally across Access, Medical, Trade, Finance, Legal, and Patient Services to resolve issues and streamline account operations.

 

Data‑Driven Reporting
  • Maintain accurate, executive‑ready reporting on Rx flow, conversion, turnaround times, abandonment drivers, and account activation status.
  • Ensure strong CRM discipline and reliable forecasting.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences or Business preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in specialty account management, market access, or complex clinic/IDN sales.
  • Demonstrated success improving access workflows and operational outcomes (PA, appeals, routing).
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, metrics‑driven, and able to operate with urgency.

 

Preferred
  • Experience in Neurology, Physiatry/PM&R, MS, stroke rehab, neuro‑rehabilitation, spasticity, or pump programs.
  • Experience launching new products in environments with utilisation management challenges.
  • Familiarity with outpatient and specialty pharmacy operations.
