Internal & External Communications Manager
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (Hybrid)
What You’ll Be Doing
Internal Communications
- Develop and lead an internal communications strategy aligned with organisational goals and values.
- Create engaging content for intranet, newsletters, leadership updates, digital signage and internal events.
- Deliver impactful campaigns supporting culture, values, DE&I, engagement and change programmes.
- Manage communications around organisational change with clarity, consistency and sensitivity.
- Take ownership to drive, build and deliver all communication requirements during acquisitions and integration.
- Develop & own a solid internal employee ‘hub’ for our global population.
External Communications
- Build and execute a proactive external comms strategy showcasing Rosemont’s impact and leadership.
- Manage media relationships, journalist engagement and external PR agencies.
- Oversee social media strategy, content planning, creation and reporting.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and alignment across all external channels.
- Support crisis communications planning and response.
- Support cross group project to upgrade and enhance our external global website & capability.
Content & Brand
- Maintain the quality, tone and consistency of all messaging.
- Develop storytelling approaches that humanise the brand and highlight colleague impact.
- Create multimedia content including video scripts, blogs, graphics briefs and presentations.
Analysis & Reporting
- Track communication performance metrics across internal and external channels.
- Provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Proven background in corporate communications or corporate affairs.
- Experience in media relations, social media management and PR campaigns.
- Strong track record in communications within organisational change environments.
- Demonstrable copywriting and content creation expertise.
Skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Calm under pressure, able to manage crises and respond quickly.
- Brand‑aware with an understanding of how communications shape perception.
Desirable
- Knowledge of engagement or culture frameworks.
- Experience with website relaunch or refresh projects.
- Experience in regulated and/or global organisations.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
- ABPI Code trained or familiar with it, ideally with pharmaceutical communications experience.
- CIPR/PRCA accreditation (desirable but not essential).
