QA Manager
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains auditing and release procedures which ensure products released for shipment meet company, customer, MHRA and FDA standards.
- Responsible for oversight of review and approval of Deviations, APR’s, Stability Reports, Certificates of Analysis, and validation documents.
- Provides risk assessment over significant Quality events
- Works with operations, laboratory, engineering, and maintenance managers and staff to develop, evaluate and implement action plans which maintain or improve product and process quality systems.
- Leads and guides others in quality driven initiatives in the continuous support of Quality Improvement
- Manage all aspects of preparation for and hosting of regulatory and customer audits.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate and coach the team to be at their best. Engage and enable each team member to ensure they can optimise their contribution to the company.

Financial Management & Budget Oversight:
- In collaboration with functional heads, manage assigned budget, ensuring financial objectives are met while optimising resource utilisation and maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Operate within agreed budget constraints.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all procedural and governance standards are met regarding compliance, competition law, anti-bribery law, criminal finances act, GDPR and industry codes of practice.
- Supplier management and governance.
- Ensure adherence to Group LOA, within area of responsibility.
Thought Leadership
- Stay abreast of the latest development and trends relating to area of responsibility. Share best practice and insight to drive performance and increase efficiencies.
- Provide management information and insight to inform management decision making for areas of responsibilities.

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum Expected Education – Bachelors Degree in relevant science e.g. Chemistry
- Typical Years of Experience- Typically a minimum of 6years in the field and 2 years supervisory experience. University Degree or equivalent required
