Project Manager (Tech Transfer)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Delivery:
– Plan, execute, and monitor project activities, ensuring completion within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
– Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, managing interdependencies and resolving issues as they arise.

• Continuous Improvement:
– Deploy process improvements to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
– Identify and propose innovative ideas for new ways of working to improve project outcomes and team collaboration.
• Governance and Compliance:
– Ensure projects adhere to established governance processes, including steering committees and stage gate reviews.
– Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards throughout project delivery.

• Stakeholder Engagement:
– Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
– Provide regular project updates, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigations to ensure alignment with business goals.
•Risk Management:
– Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
– Escalate significant risks or issues to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.

•Data and Reporting:
– Utilize tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Project to track and report on project progress and performance metrics.
– Ensure project data is accurate, transparent, and aligned with PMO standards.

• Financial Management:
– Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting financial objectives.
– Collaborate with Finance to track expenditure and align budgets with business priorities.

Knowledge and Experience

• Typical Years of Experience- 5 years+ with proven Project success and extensive experience within Pharma, Healthcare, or Med Device sectors. Ideally, experience with Tech Transfer projects.

• Minimum Expected Education- Degree level or equivalent in Scientific, Business or Project Management discipline.

• Additional Information- Strong financial acumen, proficiency in standard Microsoft Office Suite plus Project and PowerBI, broad cross-functional business experience, demonstrated leadership abilities, complex problem-solving skills, delivery of results on critical projects.
Ideally, APM or PMI qualified
