HR Advisor

Major Duties and Responsibilities

•EVP – Rosemont & You Annual Calendar -Lead the EVP – Rosemont & You Calendar of activity to build engagement and sense of belonging, year on year, supporting our ambition to be a great place to work. Ensure the calendar of activity reflects what matters to our employees and it is in service of our purpose and mission. Act as an employee champion and recommend further action to help employees be at their best and achieve their potential, in service of our purpose and mission.
Partner with our well-being suppliers to updating content and material to further enhance our offering in this area in the most cost-effective way. Tap into other external sources of support that are available.
Review and recommend Policy development in area of responsibility to provide employee and manager guidance and ensure appropriate governance. Adhere to the planning timetable for the calendar development and budgeting requirements working in conjunction with CPO. Monitor, track and report spend on a monthly basis. Evaluate the activity and annual plan and recommend continuous improvement as required.

•Charity liaison and co-ordinator for Giving Back Days -Build Rosemont’s active engagement with our charity partners and the local community to build our reputation as a good neighbour, increasing our number of giving back days, as defined in our annual business health measures. Co-ordinate activity to ensure we support more causes that matter to our employees, and they are in alignment with our purpose and mission.
Act as the first point of contact and liaison for the Company’s Charity partners.
Adhere to the planning and budget timetable. Monitor, track and report spend on a monthly basis. Review and recommend Policy development in area of responsibility to provide employee and manager guidance and ensure appropriate governance. Evaluate the activity and annual plan and recommend continuous improvement as required.

•Engagement and Communication Plan -Hold employee voice sessions to obtain feedback to inform our annual focus and work on well-being and giving back to ensure Rosemont annual calendar of activity is underpinned by what matters most for our colleagues. Run a minimum of 2 sessions annually.
Lead the internal communication plan for area of responsibility via Company communication channels – Screens/ Sharepoint / Rosemont & You communications. In conjunction with HR and Marketing team build external comms for the website and LinkedIn. Target is to have a external quarterly comms plan which shares internal activity by quarter. Continue to work with external partners and supplier on content.
Develop the engagement and communication plan in liaison with HR colleagues. Ensure the ELT and LC have advanced communication before wider all Rosemont, so they are enable to best support activity.

•Reporting & MI -Provide regular advice and support to colleagues and leaders in this key area. Present annual plan to ELT for sign off and provide updates as required. Monitor progress against critical success measures and evaluate overall plan reporting progress monthly and annual overall performance via the HR MI report.

•Mental Health First Aiders – co-ordination and reporting -Co-ordinate the focus and activity of the Company’s Mental Health First Aiders. Build capability in this area.
Establish themed based reporting and recommend action as required.

•Senior HRBP Support ER Case Handling -Provide generalist, HR advice and/or support as required ensuring advice is professional, commercial, and focused on the business requirements as well as legislation. Provide HR support on ER cases.
Governance, Compliance and Risk Management – Ensure all employment law, regulations and procedural and governance standards are met regarding compliance, and industry codes of practice. Full adherence to employment law and data privacy.

GDPR adherence and compliance relating to employee data -Mitigate HR-related risks through effective policy development and implementation.
Supplier management governance and adherence with Company delegated authorities for area of responsibility .

Provide management information and insight to inform management decision making for areas of responsibilities.

•Thought Leadership – Keep up to date on the latest development in HR trends, around Employee Wellbeing, Engagement, S of ESG to inform work in this area. Stay abreast employment law changes to ensure governance and compliance.

Knowledge & Experience

• Min degree educated or equivalent –ideally MCIPD qualified.

• 3+ years HR Advisor experience acquired in industry/sector with wide bandwidth and compliance requirements. Preferred candidates will have experience of working in a manufacturing / quality environment. Pharmaceutical sector experience is desirable.

• Track record of leading well-being initiatives.

• Understanding of the S in ESG.

• Ability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Ability to present and run facilitated employee session.

• Proven experience in handling sensitive employee relations matters.

• Sound knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.

• Numerate – data and insight led.

• Demonstrable examples of collaboration both internally and externally.
