Oral Liquid Manufacturing

Rosemont Pharmaceuticals offer an extensive manufacturing capability for both our own branded products and to companies wishing to outsource the manufacture of liquid medicines. This capability encompasses the complete process from taking a chemical entity and creating a formulation, through the scale up, development, launch and ongoing supply and distribution phases.

The Manufacturing function currently supply the Rosemont portfolio of over 90 liquid medicines in a range of bottle sizes (30ml to 500ml) and batch sizes (20 to 10,000 litres), these can also be supplied to third parties through approriate commercial agreement.

Our manufacturing plant in Leeds has passed the rigorous inspection procedures of both the MHRA and the FDA and complies with current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for both regulatory organisations.

Companies looking for third party manufacture can choose the most appropriate level of service required from Rosemont. Most of our medicines are made to stock and are available for dispatch for delivery with in two days. Products made specifically to order (assuming that the formulation has already been validated at the Rosemont plant) have a manufacturing lead time of 8-12 weeks.

We are proud of our manufacturing and filling facilities which have been completely refurbished with four specific product streams of equipment:

• Commodity and large volume products

These four product streams have dedicated plant and equipment including a new water purification system supplying purified water both manufacture and equipment cleaning.

There are over 100 staff on the Leeds site who contribute to the manufacture and supply of our products. Our commitment to maintaining the highest manufacturing standards is driving further investment in the plant. There is a Manufacturing Excellence programme in place to ensure an ongoing culture of continuous improvement and high levels of customer service.
