Reporting Lines

This position reports directly into the Marketing Manager.

Main Function/Responsibilities of the Job

Effective planning, organising of marketing activities and support of the sales activities for the assigned Rosemont products. Timely introduction of new products and development of existing products within the specified budget controls.

Primary Tasks

• Implementing strategies to achieve sales and market share targets for the assigned products within approved budget.
• The successful introduction of new products.
• Monitoring contact with customers through the sales force for direct feedback and strive for better communication with all customer groups.
  Continuously pass on relevant product information to departments within the company.
• Work within the financial constraints of the approved marketing/sales budget.
• Effectively use market research outside as well as inside the company.
• Initiate market research projects, which are essential to the success of existing and planned new products.
• Co-operating with the assessment of the feasibility of potential new products.
• Monitor activities of competitors an exploit marketing opportunities.
• Draw up and assist in drafting the yearly marketing plan, medium term plans, budget plans and other plans when asked.
• Implementation of marketing strategies and plans for all products.
  Act in compliance with company policy and the pharmaceutical industry Codes of Practice.
• Organisation of Exhibition Stands (researching, booking, organising, manning, evaluating).
• Supervise the distribution and the use of promotional material.
• Maintain, review and update as necessary the company website.
• Liaise with key opinion leaders.
• Work closely with supplier (advertising agency PR/Communications, media, website, promotional materials, print buying, etc.).
• Work effectively within multidisciplinary team.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by your Manager from time to time.
