Hospital Sales Representative
(Territory: AB, CA, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, HS, IV, KA, KW, KY, ML, NE, PA, PH, SR, TD, ZE)
Reporting Lines
This position reports directly into the Hospital Sales Manager.
Main Function/Responsibilities of the Job
To identify, contact and call on potential and existing customers within Hospitals, Prisons and PCT?s in order to identify their needs and then promote the necessary Rosemont products and services to satisfy these needs in order to achieve agreed sales targets.
Primary Tasks
To achieve all sales targets and objectives set by the Company.
To achieve territory coverage and adhere to the call rate and action plans agreed.
To build and maintain a good relationship with potential and existing customers in order to promote the use of Rosemont products and services.
To inform your Area Manager of any trends related to competition, the market or otherwise relevant for the promotion of our products.
To maintain computer administration of all relevant contacts and records to ensure these are updated and synchronised on a daily basis.
To pass the ABPI within a two year time rule.
To adhere to the guidelines as laid down in the ABPI Code of Practice.
To follow all actions as detailed by your Area Manager.
To organise/attend exhibitions as required.
To organise and arrange appropriate educational meetings/presentations wherever necessary.
To attend sales meetings, conferences or training programmes, organised by, or for, Rosemont Pharmaceuticals, where applicable.
To ensure timely despatch of all required administration including, but not limited to, weekly activity, expenses, itinerary, personnel forms, product requests etc.
To follow the Company or Customer protocols when visiting hospitals.
To liaise with all relevant sales representatives and Key/Group account manager to further the interests of Rosemont business.
To constantly analyse and utilise Rosemont sales data to ensure appropriate business planning.
To adhere to all policies and procedures issued by the Company and as outlined in the Company Handbook.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by your Area Manager or Sales Manager from time to time.
The successful candidate must live in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
