Nursing Standards Awards

As well as providing free of charge medication management training and educational materials for healtcare professionals; Rosemont also promotes best practise in medicines administration.

We are constantly looking for ways to engage with the industry, so that there is a coherant approach to dealing with patients and thier medication. This includes ensuring our policies and practises adhere to any professional guidelines, and encouraging healthcare professionals to come up with practical ways of ensuring that patients always get the right medicine, at the right time, in the right form.

At the Nursing Standards Awards 2009, Rosemont Pharmaceuticals created an award for Best Practise in Medication Administration. Nurses from all over the country, submitted practical solutions to ensuring best practise for medication administration in thier area of expertise. The winners were then given their prizes at a lovely evening reception in London. Below you can see our lovely Jan Flynn the Head of Marketing (second from the left), standing alongside the 2 winners of the category: Catherine Oakley, and Jo Johnson (3rd and 4th from the left). Well done to all the nurses who took the time to look at such an important issue in healthcare.
